for this with Rhodalite Garnets This is our take on the traditional eternity band. While the ring is indeed still an eternity band on the top, the face of the band reveals that each prong that holds a stone extends from a tiny detailed skull. The stones are 4mm round, and the overall thickness of the ring is 5.8 mm wide and 4.3 mm high. Sterling silver.
Design Notes: This design was in my head for a long time, but when it came to actually making it, it took nearly 2 years of trial & error to make it happen. It took a delicate balance to keep the detail in the skulls, but give support to the prongs for holding the stones, without adding height which would make the ring uncomfortable to wear. Like our figural band rings, instead of stretching or sizing the skulls, we add or delete skulls & stones according to the size of the ring (therefore, a size 14 has many more figures than a size 5). For example, a size 6 ring has 72 skulls total, and 18 stones.
